There are always fun things to do in San Francisco, but this weekend there seems to be more than usual:
– Dear Creatures is having a sample sale over at Asmbly Hall (1850 Filmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94115) Saturday the 19th: 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday the 20th: 12 pm – 6 pm. I’m usually not a huuuuuge fan of sample sales because it seems like the clothing is never marked down quite enough (okay maybe it’s just me. I’m extremely thrifty), but I went to their SF sample sale last year and snagged some pretty cute items at dirt-cheap prices even for this frugal gal!
– Renegade Craft Fair SF is this Saturday and Sunday – July 19th & 20th – at the Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion, 11 am – 6 pm both days. My friends Rachel & Dani will be selling there, along with a crazy awesomely long list of other vendors. I always leave Renegade Craft Fair feeling inspired with a
few laundry list of new favorite artists.
– Talking about Crossroads, they just launched a new sell-by-mail option. All you have to do is request a bag (with pre-paid postage!) from the website here, fill it with your gently used in-season clothes and drop it in the mail. You can choose either cash or trade credit good at any of the Crossroads locations. You can have Crossroads donate whatever they don’t buy, or get those pieces shipped back to you for $8.
– Half Hitch Goods is holding a pop-up shop, Haus of Half Hitch, inside the Birch floral shop in Hayes Valley (564 Hayes Street, San Francisco, CA 94133). The pop-up is not exclusive to this weekend, but it’s actually open for the entire month of July, so make sure you visit by July 31st! Leslie of Spotted SF did a wonderful write-up of Haus of Half Hitch here and Jeanine of The Coveted did a lovely write-up of the shop here.
Let me know if there are any more awesome things going on in SF this weekend I should include in this roundup. I’ll be at the BellJar exhibition on Friday, the Dear Creatures sample sale on Saturday and Renegade Craft Fair on Sunday. Hopefully I’ll see you at one of these events!
