diy hair: when in doubt, add a bow - drifter and the gypsy blog

I’m pretty sure the last time I wore a ribbon in my hair was in 3rd grade for school picture day or something like that. Which is a shame because who says ribbons aren’t for grownups? No one. And sometimes you want to do a little something something extra to do to your hair. When in doubt, add a bow.

Materials:

– 1 inch curling iron
– 1 clear hair elastic
– 1 ribbon

Steps:

1. Start by sectioning the hair and curling with a 1 inch curling iron.

2. Once finished curling, tease the crown to add a bit of “oomph.”

3. Pull your hair half up and secure with a clear elastic.

4. Tie a pretty ribbon (the one shown is from Michaels) around the clear elastic. Voilà! A chic and feminine style that is easy and fun.

Now go on and admire that ‘do, girl!
