I could never understood that line from Gertrude Stein’s Sacred Emily poem. Perhaps there is a hidden meaning in the phrase or perhaps it’s entirely abstract. But enough theory for today! It makes my head spin if I think about it too much.
Something I CAN understand is that these photographs by Chicago-based photographer and designer Anna Zajac are gorgeous. There’s something about the combination of roses and marble that is quuuite easy on the eyes. Anna’s got a framed 5×7 rose print in her shop right now. (100% profits from the print are going to Chicago non-profit Deborah’s Place.) I think it would look so lovely in a bedroom or bathroom, don’t you?
