Are those real people?

June 24, 2015

Or at least that’s what the guy at Thrift Town asked me when I went to pay for my items. (He was wondering if the faces were supposed to be specific people like in a band or something.) This Leah Reena Goren dress is definitely a conversation starter.

I love the texture of this sweater I found at Crossroads Trading Co. (a few years ago, actually!). I never had much to wear it with and I was surprised by how well I liked it paired with the patterned people dress.

The dress has a classic silhouette, but the unexpected quirky pattern gives it a funky twist. I think this dress is a metaphor for my style: feminine with a sense of humor. Maybe that’s why I like it so much?

The dress has pockets! Which I love! I don’t know about you but there’s just something about dresses with pockets that makes me so happy.
