A few months ago, I photographed my friend Shana’s studio. Shana is a makeup artist and hairstylist operating under the name Fox & Doll. I’ve worked with her numerous times and she’s definitely my makeup and hairstylist of choice! She has an awesome collection of vintage clothes AND we’re the same size, which works out well when we have to style vintage-inspired shoots.

A multi-faceted gal, Shana is also a jewelry designer, which is what she went to school for originally. She does her metal smithing in the back of her studio and sells some of her makeup, hair products and jewelry here.

Recognize this phone? It’s the one I used in the Warby Parker shoot.

Check out Shana’s website here. If you’re in the SF Bay Area, Shana also teaches workshops and private lessons too! A woman of many talents!
