Although I really loved the last chignon hair tutorial we did, I’m gonna be wearing this ‘do a lot more during the colder temperatures when I want my hair warming my neck. If you want a sporty chic version, I imagine you can simply put your hair in a ponytail after the final step!

Materials:

• 2″ curling wand
• Hair elastic

Steps:

1. Start with the hair loosely curled with a 2″ curling wand.

2. Take your first section near the temporal. Split in two to start your rope waterfall braid.

3. Twist the two sections counter clockwise one full circle and drop the bottom section out. Grab hair from the top part of the crown and repeat until you get the the back of the head. You may want to go in and separate the strands of the braid for more definition.

4. Repeat again on the other side and tie the two ends together.
