If you follow the blog Studio DIY, you may be familiar with Kelly’s Wall Crawl series. Every month, Kelly has one correspondent from a city give a visual tour of the city’s most photogenic walls so you know where to go for rockin’ solid photo backdrops if you happen to be visiting (or live in the city!). Some of my favorites have been Miami, Atlanta, London, and Chicago—my oh my I’ve got a lot of traveling to do! I covered this month’s wall crawl in San Francisco.
Several months ago, my mom and I spent a few days driving all over San Francisco and photographing me in front of the city’s most photo-worthy walls. I even came across walls I’d never even known existed. San Francisco is a very bright and colorful city, ranging from soft hues to vibrant murals. It gave me all the more appreciation for this place I call home. I hope you find this guide useful, whether you’re visiting San Francisco or live in this beautiful city by the bay. If you live in SF, do you recognize some of these walls?
