I’m going to be completely honest with you guys and tell you I’m feeling very uninspired by my own space. Part of the reason is my family and I are so insanely busier than we’ve ever been in our lives, we’ve let ourselves get untidy—not sloppy… just things aren’t always put where they should be. I won’t get into details, but as a family, we’re feeling the weight of the high cost of living in the Bay Area majorly. (We have been for the past few years.) A lot of our furniture is outdated and bleh and the walls need to be painted and our house needs a refresher. I feel the gap in terms of our home. I’ve seen good interior design (umm hellooo this house!), I know what good style looks like, I know my aesthetic, I know how to decorate, yet at this time we just can’t. There is so much truth to outside order equaling inner calm.
I know we’ll decorate our house beautifully, but all in time. Good things come to those who wait. (That’s a mantra I repeat to myself throughout the day.)
Back to this Bellevue beaut, seriously, check this house out in brio interior design’s portfolio because these photos need to be seen LARGE!
