Two very lovely, very cool lady-owned brands represented in this outfit post! First off: Hannah Kristina Metz. Hannah and I became Internet friends in… 2009? She was on the Internet before I started my blog, but I found her/liked her style/thought she was 150% cooler than I was, reached out to her, we connected, and now here we are, years later and Hannah started a clothing line with each collection inspired by her favorite stories. The dress I’m wearing is called “Iseult’s Tears” and is based on the French story of Tristan and Iseult.
Second, Project Object. Project Object is a brand new retail shop started by my pal T, who runs Upper Metal Class. Project Object is opening its storefront (!) in Portland, OR in just a few weeks. A portion of the sales from Project Object goes towards a non-profit women’s organization that places women and anyone experiencing—or at risk of—domestic violence with services that provides them with safety, education, empowerment, healing and hope as well as funding projects, fundraisers, and events to empower women and the community.
