A personal series about what wintertime—or lack thereof—looks like in the Bay Area. I’m an East Coast native (New York and then Connecticut!). At a very young age, I remember learning there are places where it doesn’t snow and kids don’t get snow days or build igloos or make snow angels or sled. I was incredulous. There’s something about winter without the snow just doesn’t seem right. Here’s a series of wintertime photos that is almost perfect: All it needs is snow.
